Satellite layer as the base
NASA / Sentinel-1 adds an initial large-scale view of likely structural damage: 58,870 structures in the public dataset.
Jun 24 earthquake · NASA layer live
sismo.ven.plus now integrates a public NASA / Sentinel-1 layer to visualize likely structural damage. Citizen reports remain open to add human evidence, local context, and needs that satellite data cannot explain.
The NASA layer is an initial assessment signal, not a final per-property verification. Reports, photos, and raw data stay internal for review.
Public satellite layer
The NASA dataset has been imported into PostGIS and is rendered as public clusters so the browser does not load tens of thousands of polygons directly.

NASA / Sentinel-1 adds an initial large-scale view of likely structural damage: 58,870 structures in the public dataset.
X and citizen reports now enrich the base layer with photos, urgent needs, local context, and signals the satellite cannot explain.
The public view separates satellite signal, human evidence, and reviewed places so likely damage is not presented as final confirmation.
Signal received
The report is stored as raw data.
Crossed with layers
It can be checked against NASA, photos, links, and other signals.
